Little Dragons

A structured introduction to Kuk Sool Won for young students. Little Dragons build listening skills, coordination, confidence, and respect while learning age-appropriate basics.

What students learn in Kuk Sool Won

Kuk Sool Won is a comprehensive Korean martial art with a broad curriculum taught progressively as students become ready.

Progression

Black belt is a process, not a shortcut

With consistent attendance and readiness, a student may progress through the color belt ranks in about two years. Black belt testing then takes about two additional years, so a consistent path may average about four years.

Eligibility is never automatic. Promotion depends on attendance, skill readiness, attitude, and instructor approval.

What age can students start?+
Students can begin at age 5. The youngest program is Little Dragons for ages 5–8.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes. New students can try one week free, and no uniform is required for the trial week.
What does Kuk Sool Won training include?+
Kuk Sool Won is a comprehensive Korean martial art. Training can include hand striking, leg techniques, throwing and grappling, joint locks, falling and acrobatics, body conditioning, animal-style techniques, traditional Korean weapons.
How long does it take to earn black belt?+
A consistent student may become eligible for black belt in about four years: roughly two years progressing through color belt ranks, followed by about two years of black belt testing. Timing depends on consistency, readiness, and instructor approval.
Is Korean drumming a regular class?+
Korean drumming is part of the school culture and may be offered as a separate group or program depending on the current schedule. Contact the school to confirm current availability.
Do adults and seniors train?+
Yes. Adult Martial Arts serves ages 18–64, and Silver Dragons is the senior-friendly path for ages 65+.
