What Is Taught
Kuk Sool Won is a comprehensive Korean martial art. It was founded in Korea in 1958 and brought to the United States in 1974. The curriculum includes hand striking, leg techniques, throwing and grappling, joint locks, falling and acrobatics, body conditioning, animal-style techniques, and traditional Korean weapons.
Kuk Sool Won St. Louis is an official member school of the World Kuk Sool Association, and has trained over 1,500 students.

Students can start at age 5.

- Youth Kuk Sool Won (ages 9 to 12)
- Teen Warriors (ages 13 to 17)

Traditional Korean drumming is also part of the school's culture and may be offered as a separate group depending on the schedule.
